Any advice for an aspiring young editor? Love your stuff :’)

Hey !! I’m glad you like my edits :)) also, I’m not that great at this whole ‘advice’ thing so please bear with me !
i. okay, so the first thing you need to do is get acquainted with the editing software you use, whether it is ps, gimp, pixlr, canva or anything really! Just pop into the application when you have time and mess with the tools present there.
ii. always look up tutorials if you’re confused about something. being fairly new to editing myself, i look at tutorials all the time! there are some really helpful ones out there!
iii. having even a vague idea about what your going to make helps a lot. it’s completely okay if you don’t, but if you do, you can modify the final result to suit the image in your head more.
iv. while making any sort of edit, make sure you have aesthetically pleasing pictures first. you can get these pictures from pinterest, we heart it or even tumblr. here’s my pinterest and here’s my we heart it for reference!
v. resource blogs like @yeahps and @itsphotoshop are also really helpful!
