i wonder when harry told ron and hermione that the dursleys used to make him live under the stairs

ron: i’m sorry you have to share my room we don’t have much space

harry: that’s fine i used to sleep under the stairs at the dursleys

ron: you slept where now?

Sometimes I just sit and think about how the Weasleys (Esp Ron, Molly & Arthur) must have been so confused and the filled with righteously hot anger at the thought of people who had more than enough resources, purposefully making a child do without. Without a proper room, without proper clothing, and without proper affection.

If you think Arthur and Molly didn’t lock themselves in their room and weep about that, then you don’t know them at all.

If you think little Ron didn’t have straight up anxiety attacks about Harry having to go back there every summer, then you are wrong.
