Welcome to the Triwizard Tournament Net! (I made a banner it was too big ugh.) This is a net, for, you guessed it, the Triwizard Tournament to take place. You can relive the magic from the fourth Harry Potter book without a) actually dying or b) leaving the comfort of your own home! 

So, how does this net work?

GLAD YOU ASKED! (this would’ve been very awkward if you didn’t.) Once you apply to this net, we will pick about 18 members (or more if the demand is high enough!) and enter you into one of three schools, Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, or Durmstrang. One champion will be randomly picked from each school.

Then, we will begin the games. Everyone, including non-champions, can earn points for their house by creating edits, gifsets, pieces of writing, or whatever else you can think of. The rules assigned to this section of the games will be detailed in a post later on. During this portion, a Daily Prophet edition including interviews with all three of the champions will be posted.

The tasks will commence after the Daily Prophet has come out. Tasks will NOT BE THE SAME AS IN GOBLET OF FIRE, just so it can be a little bit more interesting! Rules and how to earn points for the tasks will be posted at a later date.

Then, the school with the most points wins the Triwizard Cup! Prizes will be explained later, because legitimately I procrastinate everything I suck I know.

Welcome to the Harry Potter Universe Network!

What is it, you ask?

It’s a network dedicated to Harry Potter.

There are so many networks here on Tumblr that divide people into groups (usually their Hogwarts House) and have them undertake different themed challenges. We, here at potterversenet , wanted to do something similar but in a broader and more unique way.

We want you to join us here, with your school of choice, favorite era, Hogwarts and Ilvermorny Houses, blood status, and a ‘profession’ in our version of the Wizarding World.

When you’ve been put in different categories, we’ll hold challenges for specific groups for a period of time! For example, one week we’ll hold a challenge for our squad of Hufflepuff Healers, or we’ll have our Wampus Auror task force responds to a different one.

Our ‘professions’ are limited to Auror, Healer, Professor, Quidditch Player, Curse Breaker, Dragonologist, Herbologist, Magizoologist, and Wandmaker for now. But we intend to expand the net until we have a world as diverse as the Wizarding World itself.

What you need to apply:

  • Reblog this post to spread the word!
  • Have a main blog or side blog that posts some HP content. Yes, that means it can be multi-fandom.
  • Be able to create some Harry Potter content for our net every once in a while. We don’t want anyone to feel pressured into making stuff when they are not inspired, but we also need to make sure our net is active, so you will need to make some content.
  • Be somewhat active on Tumblr, and be able to join a discord chat!
  • Track #potterversenet for further updates!

The deadline is October 1st and members will be announced the following week! 😀
